Aaron’s journey into the finance sector took a distinctive route. After high school, Aaron served in the United States Marine Corps, which instilled in him a robust discipline and leadership acumen — values he subsequently brought to his studies at Washington University.


Upon graduation, he joined the Gatewood Wealth Solutions team, resolute in his mission to help clients realize their financial aspirations. As Aaron assumed greater leadership roles to foster the firm’s expansion, his proven success and distinctive leadership style paved the way for his elevation to partnership in the company.  This progression ultimately culminated in him succeeding the firm’s founder, John Gatewood, stepping into the pivotal position of CEO. In his role, Aaron guides the strategic direction of the firm. His responsibilities encompass defining the company’s vision, setting operational goals, and overseeing all business activities to ensure they align with the firm’s mission.


Leading with a client-centric approach, Aaron ensures that all initiatives prioritize clients’ financial health and long-term goals. He fosters an innovative culture that seeks to stay ahead of market trends, adapt to evolving clients’ needs, and offer superior wealth management services. Aaron continually mentors and inspires the team, creating a work environment that encourages collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.


Aaron holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation, which is globally recognized and given by the CFA Institute, validating an individual’s competence and integrity in investment management. This certification indicates the holder’s advanced understanding of investment analysis and portfolio management skills.


Aaron’s Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation demonstrates his proficiency in financial planning, risk management, investment, tax efficiency, retirement, and estate planning advising. He also holds his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation, a testament to his deep understanding of insurance’s advanced applications in estate and business planning.


Aaron maintains his Series 6, 7 & 63 securities registrations with LPL Financial, as well as his Life and Health license.


Residing in Webster Groves, Aaron shares his life with his wife Lindsey, their son, Ira, and two daughters, Shelby, and Cecilia. A strong proponent of an active lifestyle, Aaron enjoys fitness activities, outdoor pursuits, and Taekwondo sessions with his son. Beyond physical activities, Aaron’s passion for reading keeps him engrossed in a broad array of literary works.


Aaron’s faith is a fundamental cornerstone of his life. A church elder of his local Churchouse congregation, Aaron is also advancing his spiritual knowledge and leadership through seminary education.
