After earning his degree from the prestigious Emylon Business School in France, Jerry chose to return to his roots in China. He embarked on his professional journey with a role as financial analyst intern at a leading private equity firm based in Shanghai, an experience that equipped him with invaluable insights and hands-on experience in the industry.

 

Seeking to further his education, Jerry relocated to St. Louis and enrolled at Washington University, where he completed his Master of Science in Business Analytics and Financial Technology. During his academic journey, Jerry has also worked with several fintech start-ups, enriching his practical understanding of the ever-evolving trends in financial services technology.

 

In May 2023, Jerry became a valuable member of the Gatewood Wealth Solutions team as an intern. In his current role, Jerry plays an integral part in enhancing the firm’s operational processes and systems. His tasks involve identifying areas of improvement, recommending innovative solutions, and assisting in the execution of strategies aimed at achieving operational excellence, thereby contributing significantly to the firm’s efficiency and productivity.

PERSONAL

Born and raised in the picturesque city of Wenzhou in Southeast China, Jerry expanded his horizons by enrolling at the renowned Emlyon Business School in France, where he successfully earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance and Control. He is furthering his academic credentials by pursuing a master’s degree at Washington University in St. Louis. Jerry is deeply involved in extracurricular activities, holding key leadership positions including Vice President of the Wealth & Asset Management Club and Event Organizer for the Chinese Students and Scholars Association.

 

Outside academics, Jerry has a rich array of interests. Jerry’s passions lie in music, athletics, and travel. He is an ardent tennis player, an avid runner, and has a penchant for surfing.
