In 2021, Mo continued his academic journey at Washington University in St. Louis, earning a specialized master’s degree in finance focused on wealth and asset management. He was elected President of the Wealth & Asset Management Club, where he played a key part in the professional and academic development of 132 members of the Olin Business School community.
Mo joined Gatewood Wealth Solutions in May 2023 on the advisor career path as a Wealth Coordinator, delivering comprehensive financial planning and wealth management solutions to clients. In February 2025, he was promoted from Senior Wealth Coordinator to Business Development Associate, where he now serves on Gatewood’s Client Acquisition Team. Mo works alongside the firm’s Wealth Advisors to provide prospective clients with strategic wealth management and financial planning solutions, partnering with his team to execute business development meetings focused on client-centered financial guidance and growing the firm’s assets under management (AUM).
Mo holds his SIE, Life & Health, Series 63, Series 7, and Series 65 licenses. He is currently working toward his CFP® designation as he continues on the path to becoming a Wealth Advisor at Gatewood.
Mo was born and raised in the cosmopolitan city of Dubai, UAE, home to more than 200 nationalities. Thanks to this multicultural upbringing, he speaks four languages fluently and is currently learning French and Mandarin. Mo’s extended family lives in St. Louis, which he now calls home.
Outside of work, Mo enjoys wakeboarding, vintage cars, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and collecting contemporary art. He values paying it forward and mentors students at Washington University seeking career and life advice. Among his long-term goals are opening a contemporary Middle Eastern restaurant in St. Louis and establishing an orphanage in his hometown of Dubai.
