PROFESSIONAL

Annie Erickson, CPA, MACC, is a seasoned financial professional with a background in internal audit and financial advisory services. Prior to joining Gatewood Wealth Solutions, Annie made significant strides at Protiviti in Brentwood, MO, where she began as an Internal Audit & Financial Advisory Consultant. In this role, she excelled in SOX control compliance testing across various sectors. Her commitment and expertise facilitated her rise to Manager, where she further honed her skills in evaluating management reviews, control processes, and developing vendor risk management strategies. Annie led materiality assessments and performed in-depth ESG internal audits, enhancing the sustainability strategies of numerous companies.

At Gatewood Wealth Solutions, Annie has taken on the vital role of Wealth Coordinator.  In her current role, she assists our team of advisors in managing the firm’s clients’ overall financial planning and performance, demonstrating her commitment to client-focused financial guidance. Annie serves as an essential part of each Client Care team.  As a Wealth Coordinator, she oversees the administrative details of client accounts with precision and timeliness, ensuring all requisite documentation are managed accurately and promptly.
 

PERSONAL

Annie and her husband, Eli, are both St. Louis natives. They are high school sweethearts, and now share their home in University City with their two dogs, Leia and Mose.

Beyond finance, Annie is passionate about dance, teaching at RJ’s Dance Studio in Ellisville. Annie's involvement in dance extends to her family, as she shares this passion with her nieces who dance at the same studio. Her dual role in finance and the arts exemplifies her dynamic approach to life, blending the precision of numbers with the grace of dance. Her personal life is a blend of family, the arts, and community engagement.
